Class Info & Policies

At Beautiful Faces Spa and Training, your satisfaction is our priority.  Our goal is to provide an exceptional learning experience in a safe environment while maintaining professional standards and policies that respect your time and ours.  We are delighted to be transparent in our policies so that you make an informed decision about your educational investments. 

 

We urge anyone interested in registering for one of our classes to read our Class Info & Policies thoroughly prior to registration.  We are happy to answer any questions prior to registration.  Terms may update without notice.

Registration

  1. Who can register for our Advanced Training Certification classes?

    • Licensed and unlicensed salon and spa professionals earn a Certificate of Completion.

    • Entry not available for all classes.  Prerequisite may be mandatory for some classes.

  2. Who can register for our IL Continuing Education Classes (CEU)?

    • Licensed salon and spa professionals including Estheticians, Cosmetologists, Esthetician Teachers, Cosmetology Teachers

    • Inactive Licensees must schedule a consultation prior to joining any IL CEU class.

  3. IL CEU VS. Advanced Certification Training

    • Licensed Estheticians, Cosmetologists, Esthetician Teachers, Cosmetology Teachers can earn IL CEU’s from most of our classes to maintain Continuing Education licensure requirements from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations (IDFPR).

    • Advanced Training Certificates of Attendance will be given to licensed and unlicensed participants to show completion of a full educational training.

  4. How to register:

    • Read class descriptions and book a prescheduled class or submit an Advanced Education Inquiry Form for a consultation if you are interested in a private 1:1 or Group class or event.

    • Prerequisites, training or experience may be required for some classes.

    • Due to small class sizes, all registrations are done on a first come first serve basis and held with your payment.

    • Check your SPAM mail or email Beautifulfaces.info@gmail.com if you don’t receive communication within 12 hours of registration.

  5. What to Register for:

    • Private or Group Options include:

      • In-person Hands-on - Instructor lead. Theory and Hands-on participation required.

      • In-person Look n Learn - Theory and Instructor demo. *

      • Virtual Hands-on via Zoom - Instructor lead. Theory and Hands-on participation required.

      • Virtual Look n Learn via Zoom - Theory and Instructor demo. *​

    • Add Host 3+ Me Program to cart if available.

Programs

  1. ​3+ Me Host Group Training and save 25% on your class.

  2. Refer A Pro - Receive 25% off your next class for referring 3 students or licensed professionals who complete a training with us.

  3. Details will be given in our consultation call.

Payments

  1. Deposits or full payments are required for some classes.  This will be indicated in written communication after consultation on an invoice, pay link, or class registration.  Deposits are non refundable for any reason.

  2. Payment options: Credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, CashApp, Cash

  3. Prices for each class are as indicated on our website.  They may update without notice and will not affect your current payment.

  4. Payments may be made in full or 50% deposit depending on the class at the time of Registration.

  5. All payments are taxed per "Government's Cut" and will be shown on invoice.

Refunds

  1. Participant: Due to our small class sizes, no refunds of class payments or deposits are permitted.

  2. No class reschedules are permitted.

  3. Trainer:  In the case of a trainer cancellation due to unforeseen or extreme circumstances at trainers’ discretion, the trainer will have (3) months to reschedule the class before issuing any refunds.

  4. Allow 7-10 business days for refund to be processed. Communication will be given in a timely fashion.

Guarantees​

  1. No guarantees are made and no refunds will be given for any reason.

Discounts

  1. Codes - May be used once per promotional period if available.  No cash value. Non-transferable.  May be discontinued without notice.  May be offered to a specific registration type or participating group.  No refunds will be issued on discounted portions of any class.

  2. 3+ Me Host Group Training - May only be used per hosted class by the person who initiates and completes the class.  Discount is given as a refund of the price of the class, excluding any add-ons post class only if all attendees are paid in full and complete the class.

  3. Refer a Pro - 25% discount is on the amount of the class price and will be issued after the referee has completed a qualified class.

Attendance In-person

  1. Communication

    • It is the Host or Participants responsibility to communicate with the trainer of any delays, cancellations, missing participants or any other reason.  Class may resume without missing participant or be cancelled after a 30-minute grace period.

    • Send email to Beautifulfaces.info@gmail.com.  Phone or social media communication is not allowed for any cancellations or reschedules.

  2. Trainer:  In the case of a trainer cancellation due to unforeseen or extreme circumstances at trainers’ discretion, the trainer will have (3) months to reschedule the class before issuing any refunds.

  3. Late - The grace period for late participants is 30 minutes

    • If a participant is late to a class more than 30 minutes, the participant may not be allowed to join class.  No refunds will be issued.

    • If a host or participant doesn’t provide access to the instructor to set up at your location more than 30 minutes past the scheduled trainers time of arrival, the class will be cancelled, and no refunds will be issued.  Time of arrival is important for setup and check-in, does not include class time.  Minimum 1 hour setup time is mandatory for any on-location class.

    • If obtaining IL CEU - Participants will not be allowed to join class if LATE more than 30 minutes.  Late participants must forego breaks in order to satisfy state requirements for IL CEU. No refund or reschedule will be issued.

  4. No-show - If the participant is a No-show after a 30 minute grace period for any reason, class will be cancelled.   No refund will be issued.

Attendance Virtual

  1. Virtual Classes

    • Class Zoom Link may not be shared. Your Full name is required on your Zoom account window for entry. Attendance will be taken throughout the class and any unknown accounts will be removed immediately.

    • If it is determined that non-paid attendees are present during a Virtual class in participants' location, the trainer has the right to cancel the class due to breach of contract.  No refunds will be issued.

    • If it is determined that the Virtual class is being broadcasted or shown to an audience that has not submitted a full payment, the trainer has the right to cancel the class due to breach of contract.  No refunds will be issued.

    • The class will be recorded for attendance verification, training and marketing purposes.  Participants' cameras must be on throughout class time as proof of attendance and participation.

  2. Late - If obtaining IL CEU hrs - Participants will not be allowed to join class if LATE more than 30 minutes.  No refund or reschedule will be issued.

  3. Class will begin as scheduled.  The virtual classroom will open 15 minutes prior to class to sort out technical difficulties.

  4. Internet Connection - Beautiful Faces Spa and Training or Trainer is not responsible for participants who are disconnected from their internet service.  Please plan to be in a place with a strong internet connection.  If participant is disconnected from class more than 30 minutes the participant will not be permitted to reinter the virtual classroom if they are seeking IL CEU. 

Class Preparation

  1. Kits

    • You will have the option to provide your own Kit, pre-purchase a Kit or add “Instructor Kit” to your cart.

    • The “Instructor Kit” will provide everything needed for only the person in a group that pays for the option.  

    • Kits will not be supplied or needed unless stated in the description.

    • Pre-purchased Kits are non-refundable by trainer if purchased through an Affiliate or Vendor site linked though Beautifulfacesspa.com or pre-purchased by Beautiful Faces Spa and Training (Victoria Wells) for you.  You must contact the vendor that supplies it based on their policy.

  2. Models

    • Model or mannequin required for Hands-on to receive Certificate of Completion.

    • For IL CEU Hours; hands-on classes must have at least 2 models or a partner to swap services with during Hands-on.

    • If required models do not show, student must submit a video or virtual hands-on of service performed satisfactory to trainer requirements before receiving Certificate of Completion and/or CEU Transcript no more than 7 day post class.

  3. 2 Day or hybrid classes​​

    • Enrolling in a 2-day or hybrid class will require you to attend both day: virtual or in-person at the scheduled time.  Failure to attend all days could result in class cancellation by instructor after 30 minutes at instructors' discretion.  No refunds or reschedules will be given.​

  4. Prerequisites

    • Some classes will have prerequisites, which will be indicated in the class description.  Falsely claiming to have the prerequisite for any class will result in a class cancellation at instructors' discretion for the safety of any clients/models, yourself, the instructor and Beautiful Faces Spa and Training.  You will be held liable for any damages incurred as a result of you not having the proper prerequisite for any class one is indicated for.  No refunds will be given.​  Question's about prerequisites?  Beautifulfaces.info@gmail.com.

  5. Sanitation​

    • Participants are required to clean, sanitize and reset stations, waiting areas or classroom prior to receiving your certificates or transcripts.  Sanitation time is scheduled in all hands-on classes and are part of the curriculum.  Failure to do so wil result in a delay of receiving your certificate or transcripts.
